About the Job: We're looking for a dedicated and passionate Behavioural Support Worker to join our team at Prospero Teaching. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a SEMh school near Chorley, providing emotional support and guidance to students who require it most.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with SEMh issues, promoting emotional well-being and reducing challenging behaviour
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for supporting pupils, in collaboration with teachers and other support staff
  • Conduct one-to-one sessions with pupils, addressing their specific needs and concerns

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children who display challenging behaviour
  • De-escalation training
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training (or willingness to complete)
  • Team Teach training
  • Able to provide two professional references
