Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead our outsourced payroll services team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, managing the end-to-end payroll process for multiple clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality end-to-end payroll services for allocated outsourced clients.
  • Lead and manage a small team of payroll administrators.
  • Manage daily workload and plans effectively.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for complex payroll escalations.
  • Report performance to the service delivery manager.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients for payroll services.

Requirements
  • Strong mathematics skills and ability to perform manual payroll calculations.
  • Ability to run manual payroll calculations, including tax, NIC, student loans, and pension deductions.
  • Experience with payroll from end to end, including year-end procedures.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including use of formulas, VLOOKUPs, and pivot tables.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ideal candidate will hold a relevant payroll qualification.
  • Previous experience with modified payroll would be beneficial but not essential.

Salary Information

The salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.


Location

This is a full-time remote role, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance.
