Payroll Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at CE Back Office. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll of multiple client payrolls. You will work closely with the wider payroll team to provide support and ensure the smooth operation of our payroll services.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage payroll inbox and respond to queries from HR, Managers, Employees, and Third Party Suppliers.
• Prepare payroll imports and changes on time and upload them to the payroll system.
• Review payroll data, including manual checks, NMW compliance, and prepare sign-off reports.
• Prepare and upload third-party reports.
• Ensure payroll compliance.
• Complete annual payroll tasks, including year-end processing, P11D submissions, and PSA reporting.
• Generate reports as required.
Requirements
• Strong mathematics skills and the ability to carry out manual payroll calculations.
• Ability to run manual payroll calculations, including tax, NIC, student loans, and pension deductions.
• Ability to process payroll from end to end, including year-end procedures.
• Ability to use Excel, including use of formulas, v look-ups, and pivot tables.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ideally, hold a relevant payroll qualification.
• Experience of IRIS Payroll Professional is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be given.
