Job Title: Payroll Team Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Team Leader to join our team at CE Back Office. As a Payroll Team Leader, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end payroll services for allocated outsourced clients. This includes leading a small number of payroll administrators, managing daily workload and plans, and being the first point of call for escalations on complex payroll topics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver end-to-end payroll services for allocated outsourced clients.
  • Lead a small number of payroll administrators.
  • Manage daily workload and plans.
  • Be the first point of call for escalations on complex payroll topics.
  • Report performance to the service delivery manager.
  • Maintain client relationships for payroll services.

Requirements:

  • Strong mathematics skills and the ability to carry out manual payroll calculations.
  • Ability to run manual payroll calculations to include tax, NIC, student loans, and pension deductions.
  • Ability to process payroll from end to end including year-end procedures.
  • Ability to use excel including use of formulas including v look-ups and pivot tables.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Ideally, hold a relevant payroll qualification.
