Job Title: Payroll Team Leader
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Team Leader to join our team at CE Back Office. As a Payroll Team Leader, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end payroll services for allocated outsourced clients. This includes leading a small number of payroll administrators, managing daily workload and plans, and being the first point of call for escalations on complex payroll topics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver end-to-end payroll services for allocated outsourced clients.
- Lead a small number of payroll administrators.
- Manage daily workload and plans.
- Be the first point of call for escalations on complex payroll topics.
- Report performance to the service delivery manager.
- Maintain client relationships for payroll services.
Requirements:
- Strong mathematics skills and the ability to carry out manual payroll calculations.
- Ability to run manual payroll calculations to include tax, NIC, student loans, and pension deductions.
- Ability to process payroll from end to end including year-end procedures.
- Ability to use excel including use of formulas including v look-ups and pivot tables.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Ideally, hold a relevant payroll qualification.
