Job Title: Financial Administrator

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Financial Administrator to join our team at Bupa Care Services. As a Financial Administrator, you will play a key role in maintaining financial administration processes to support the smooth running of the Care Home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Accurate Financial Records: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Liaise with Authorities: Communicate with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and other external stakeholders to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Safeguard Resident Finances: Protect the financial interests of residents by ensuring their funds are secure and properly managed.
  • Support Payroll Processes: Assist with payroll administration, including processing payments, managing benefits, and resolving payroll-related issues.
  • Provide Clerical Support: Offer administrative support to the Home Manager, including preparing reports, managing files, and performing other clerical tasks.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in financial administration, preferably in a healthcare or social care setting.
  • Strong Attention to Detail: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to Build Relationships: A caring and empathetic approach, with the ability to build trust and rapport with residents, families, and colleagues.
