Financial Operations Manager | Hospitality Sector
We are excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional with a strong operational focus to step into the role of Financial Operations Manager. In this position, you will collaborate closely with the Finance Business Partner to support our healthcare division, working alongside Contract Directors and operational teams to effectively manage and analyze the financial performance of various contracts.
As the Financial Operations Manager, you will lead a team of Contract Finance Managers and their support staff, overseeing monthly business review meetings, ensuring timely month-end closures, and managing the reporting process in accordance with established deadlines while adhering to relevant accounting standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a business partner to enhance contractual performance and foster understanding among key stakeholders, both financial and non-financial.
- Oversee period-end accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance in accounting treatments and entries.
- Develop and mentor junior finance team members.
- Analyze and optimize working capital and balance sheet performance.
- Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts, critically assessing operational performance and reporting significant variances.
- Present financial results and insights during client and internal meetings.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Relevant experience in an operational finance role.
- Professional qualifications such as CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management.
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and logically.
- Strong commercial acumen and judgment.
- Proven leadership and influencing capabilities.
- Excellent analytical and systems skills.
