Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Coordinator to support our in-house Financial Controller and coordinate internal IT queries with our external service provider.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Financial Controller with daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
  • Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts as required.
  • Liaise with external parties for outsourced financial functions and support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Deal with basic financial queries and requests from affiliated restaurants.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role, with relevant accounting qualifications (e.g. AAT, ACCA part-qualified, or similar).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with financial and IT professionals.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (Sage 50 or 200 preferable) and IT service management tools.
  • Knowledge of data protection regulations and best usage practices in IT security.
  • Experience working in the multi-site hospitality, restaurant, or retail industry.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with cloud-based financial and IT solutions.
