Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Leaving Care Mentor to join our team. As a Leaving Care Mentor, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to care leavers, empowering them to live independently and make informed decisions about their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
This role involves providing practical support to care leavers, including assistance with education, employment, and training. You will also be responsible for advocating for their needs, fostering positive relationships, and helping them build skills for independence. Your expertise in assessment and planning will be crucial in developing effective plans to support their transition to adulthood.
Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum, 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, and an initial 3-month contract with the possibility of extension.
