Recovery Care Specialist

NHS Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals is seeking a highly skilled Recovery Care Specialist to join their team in Theatres. As a key member of the post-anaesthetic care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe recovery of patients following surgical intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with nurses and operating department practitioners to achieve seamless patient transitions and optimal recovery outcomes
• Develop and maintain expertise in post-anaesthetic care practices, staying up-to-date with current research and clinical guidelines
• Foster strong working relationships with multidisciplinary teams, promoting effective communication and teamwork
Requirements:
• Registered or student nurse/operating department practitioner with current professional registration
• Relevant diploma or degree, or working towards
• Teaching and assessing/mentoring qualification
• Related ENB/Theatre courses
• Significant experience working in a recovery/post-anaesthetic care environment
Salary: £34,874 - £44,161 per annum (dependent on experience)
