Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate individual to provide safe care and support to adults at risk, ensuring their basic needs are fully met.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care that is tailored to the needs and aspirations of each individual, promoting person-centred quality care and ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Safe Care Delivery: Support the delivery of agreed plans of care, ensuring service users receive safe and effective care.
  2. Personal Care Support: Provide personal care support as determined within individual care plans, including assisting with daily living activities such as dressing, washing, and toileting.
  3. Monitoring Progress: Monitor the progress of service users, being mindful of triggers for challenging behaviour and acting appropriately in line with agreed guidelines.
  4. Communication: Communicate effectively with service users, families, and care professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  5. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including care plans, risk assessments, and work-related logs.
  6. Health and Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by using equipment as instructed and trained, and reporting any health and safety issues promptly.
  7. Data Protection: Implement and act in accordance with data protection policies, protecting council information assets from unauthorized access.

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth.
