**Hours**: 37.5 hours per week
**Salary**: £27,449.53 - £31,529.41 (dependent on experience)
**Responsibilities**:
Are you a skilled and experienced professional ready to make a profound impact in the field of substance misuse recovery? We have an exciting opening for a drug keyworker for our Non Opiate clients. In this role, you'll leverage your skills and experience to assess and engage with our service users, ensuring they receive timely, tailored interventions that best meet their needs.
**About the Role**:
**In this dynamic role, you'll**:
Support service users from the moment they enter our service throughout their treatment and recovery journey.
Conduct screening, assessments, and recovery planning, with onward referrals as necessary.
Deliver engaging non-opiate group work programs.
Play a crucial role in reducing drug and alcohol-related harm to both service users and the wider community.
Actively promote carer, service user, and community involvement.
Advocate for access to partnership services.
Collaborate with service users to support their social reintegration, enabling them to lead meaningful lives, promote recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination.
**About You**:
**To excel in this role, you should**:
Demonstrable relevant experience in crisis support/intervention, key working/case management, group facilitation and peer-led interventions.
Knowledge of non-opioid substances, like stimulant drugs, GHB, Ketemine, spice etc.
**To be a great fit for this role, you should possess**:
Experience in the substance misuse field or similar.
Great communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathy, patience, resilience and a genuine commitment to helping others.
Experience of conducting comprehensive assessments to determine individual needs and treatment plans.
Skills in effectively managing change, prioritising the needs of service users.
