Theatre Recovery Manager

We are recruiting a Theatre Recovery Manager to lead our dedicated team in Theatres at NHS Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals. As a key member of the theatre team, you will be responsible for coordinating the recovery area, supervising delegation, and reviewing performance to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Main Duties:
• Coordinate the recovery area, ensuring smooth patient flow and efficient use of resources
• Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing and ODP staff, providing guidance and support as needed
• Review performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care

Person Specification:
• Registered or student nurse/operating department practitioner with current professional registration
• Relevant diploma or degree, or working towards
• Teaching and assessing/mentoring qualification
• Related ENB/Theatre courses
• Significant experience working in a recovery/post-anaesthetic care environment

Salary: £43,772 - £56,585 per annum (dependent on experience)
