Gastroenterology Nursing Lead

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe use of equipment and supplies, monitoring patient comfort and satisfaction, and participating in clinical audits. They will also be expected to maintain up-to-date professional registration, adhere to relevant codes of practice, and achieve their personal development plan.
In addition, they will be responsible for supervising the training of healthcare assistants and junior staff members, coaching and mentoring junior nurses, and monitoring staff development and training. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of clinical issues, knowledge of safeguarding vulnerable adults procedures, and sufficient post-registration experience in medical specialties.
