Are you experienced, skilled, and passionate about making a meaningful difference? We're seeking a dedicated Recovery Coordinator to engage and assess our service users, ensuring they receive timely, personalised interventions that cater to their unique needs.

With this role you’ll be working as part of The Criminal Justice Team based in Knowsley working as a court liaison worker and also working closely with Knowsley housing providers. This role will also support with delivering training to partner agencies as and when required.

Our vibrant Knowsley service team includes service managers, consultant psychiatrists, doctors, nurses, healthcare assistants, recovery staff, volunteers, administrators, and Peer Mentors. Collectively, we are devoted to providing the highest quality support and interventions for individuals using our services.

**Hours**: 37.5 per week
**Salary**: £27,449.52 - £31,529.41 dependant on experience

**Responsibilities**:
**The Role**:

- As a valued member of our team in Knowsley, you'll be taking on a central role with responsibilities including:
- Offering support to service users from the point of entry into the service throughout their treatment journey.
- Conducting screening, assessment, and developing recovery plans with onward referrals.
- Minimising harm related to drug and alcohol use for both the individual and the wider community.
- Advocating access to partnership services.
- Collaborating with each individual to facilitate social (re)integration, empowering them to lead meaningful lives, emphasising recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination.

**About You**:

- To thrive in this role, we're looking for someone who:
- Demonstrates a solid understanding of substance misuse issues and has experience in this or a related field.
- Possesses excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, coupled with proficient IT skills.
- Takes a proactive approach, working well independently with strong time management and ability to prioritise work.
- Holds a good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and best practices.
- Is a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with a diverse range of professionals, agencies, and internal/external stakeholders.
- Can successfully manage change while prioritising the needs of those who use our service.
- Actively seeks learning opportunities to enhance professional knowledge and skills, contributing to the learning and development of others.
