About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Care Support Specialist to join our team at 5 Star Recruitment. As a key member of our care delivery team, you will play a vital role in providing safe and effective care support to adults at risk.

Responsibilities
  1. Deliver high-quality care support that meets the individual needs and aspirations of each service user, ensuring their basic needs are fully met.
  2. Support the development and implementation of personalized care plans, working closely with service users, families, and healthcare professionals.
  3. Conduct regular risk assessments and update care plans as needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of service users.
  4. Provide emotional support and encouragement to individuals who may be experiencing challenging behavior or emotional distress.
  5. Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, dressing, and eating, promoting independence and dignity.
  6. Monitor and report any changes in service user behavior or condition, highlighting areas for improvement in care planning and delivery.
  7. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless care transitions and minimize disruption to service users.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to data protection policies and procedures.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Experience in care delivery, ideally in a residential setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users and colleagues.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Familiarity with care planning and risk assessment processes.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in pressurized situations, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
