We are seeking a qualified candidate to fill a Human Services leadership position within the Commonwealth of Virginia. About the RoleThe ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field or equivalent experience, with a strong understanding of principles and practices of effective supervision, casework supervision, and social work principles. They will also have considerable experience in Adult Protective Services programs and completion of required training programs.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and train staff members to ensure high-quality services are provided to clients
- Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend policy changes as needed
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external agency staff
- Provide consultation and supervision to social workers
- Ensure program performance and compliance with state and federal policies
The successful candidate will have a strong background in human services, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to make sound judgments in difficult situations. They will also have experience working with community partners and a commitment to providing exceptional service to clients.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $75,619 - Commensurate with experience. The Commonwealth of Virginia offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
