Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Counseling Therapist to join our team at Northwestern Community Services Board. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of adults experiencing substance use disorders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct treatment services through individual, group, and family therapy, as well as Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP). Our ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working with clients with substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments to identify client needs and develop effective treatment plans
  • Provide direct treatment services, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Document client progress and treatment outcomes accurately and efficiently
Requirements
  • LPC or LCSW eligibility required; licensed preferred
  • Advanced educational degree in a relevant human services field required
  • Clinical experience working with clients with substance use disorders required
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required
