Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Social Services Professional III to join our team at the Commonwealth of Virginia. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in human services, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to families and individuals in need, including investigating cases of child abuse and neglect, developing service plans, and coordinating with other agencies and organizations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a human services field and at least two years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate cases of child abuse and neglect
  • Develop and implement service plans for families and individuals in need
  • Coordinate with other agencies and organizations to ensure effective delivery of services
  • Provide support and counseling to families and individuals
  • Prepare reports and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a human services field
  • At least two years of relevant experience in social services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Salary: $60,993 - Commensurate with Experience
