Job Title: Electrical Power Systems Manager

Location: UK-wide with opportunities to travel to various BAE, customer, and supplier sites.

Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:

This is a leadership role that involves managing an engineering team to deliver the functional design and definition of Electrical Power Systems equipment. You will be responsible for leading processes and reviews of technical documentation, managing associated technical risks, assumptions, and dependencies, and providing advice on electrical power technical aspects across a broad range of engineering disciplines.

As part of the Electrical Power Systems Definition team, you will work on the UK's next-generation SSN design that incorporates technology from the UK, Australia, and the United States. This role provides an opportunity to make a real difference in the development of cutting-edge technology and to work collaboratively with customers and suppliers to provide solutions to complex problems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Engineering background.
  2. Engineering Chartership required (or equivalent experience demonstrated).
  3. Significant knowledge of AC and DC electrical power systems.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Team leadership experience.
