Electrical Power System Technical Lead

**Job Summary**
We're looking for a skilled Power Systems Engineer to work on the specification and tendering of equipment within the Electrical Power System. This role requires expertise in high power, medium voltage power electronics, machines, and drives.
Key Duties:
- Developing technical specifications and managing the down selection and placement of contracts
- Collaborating with suppliers and customers to deliver equipment to specification
- Ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards through effective design lifecycle management
- Providing technical guidance to teams, suppliers, and stakeholders on power system-related matters
- Creating technical reports, calculations, and presentations to communicate results and recommendations effectively
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or related field
- Proven experience as a power systems engineer
- Experience with complex design programmes and industry codes and standards
- Strong knowledge of power systems, including conversion, distributions, and generation
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
