Disability Support Manager for Children
Ackerman Pierce Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Disability Support Manager for Children to join our well-established team in London. In this critical role, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality support services to children with disabilities and their families.

We are looking for an experienced manager who can lead and motivate the team, develop and implement effective support plans, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements and organizational policies. You will also work closely with other professionals to provide coordinated support and maintain accurate records and reports.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the development and implementation of effective support plans for children with disabilities and their families.
  • Lead and manage a team of social care professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and organizational policies.
Essential Criteria:
  • A minimum of 3 years post-qualifying experience working as a Children with Disabilities Senior Social Worker within the UK Social Care industry.
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB clearance (we can assist with obtaining this).
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • A deep understanding of the complexities surrounding child disability and the ability to provide tailored support.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
