Job Title: Expert Physiotherapist for Children with Cancer

We are seeking an experienced band 6/7 physiotherapist to join our paediatric physiotherapy team at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have significant experience in paediatric physiotherapy, particularly in complex disability neurology, MSK, and respiratory management.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced clinical environment, providing high-quality care to children, young people, and their families requiring cancer and stem cell transplant services.

Key Responsibilities
  • To be a physiotherapy clinical expert in the management of paediatric oncology, immunology, and SCT patients for inpatient and outpatient services.
  • To provide supervision and clinical support to rotational band 6 physiotherapy staff, assistants, and students.
  • To work with the band 8a physiotherapist to develop clinical pathways and services within oncology, haematology, immunology, and BMT paediatric physiotherapy services.
Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with a degree or equivalent qualification in physiotherapy, health professions registration, and evidence of continued professional development. The ideal candidate will have considerable post-graduate experience in paediatric physiotherapy, including complex disability neurology, MSK, and respiratory management.

The estimated salary for this role is £42,907 - £60,932 per annum, depending on experience. This is a permanent position with opportunities for professional development and growth.
