Wolverhampton, Wolverhampton, United Kingdom Creative Support Full time

As a leading national provider of support services, Creative Support is committed to delivering exceptional care and support to individuals with diverse needs.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Relief Support Worker to join our team in Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing person-centred support and practical assistance to service users living in a 36-flat building, comprising general needs flats and homes requiring one-to-one support.

This rewarding role offers an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable individuals, while working as part of a dynamic and motivated team of Support Workers. If you possess a warm and caring approach, combined with excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with service users who require mental health support. This position requires flexibility, enabling you to work independently and as part of a team to address any issues that may arise.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting individuals with daily tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with service users
  • Carrying out administrative duties to ensure the smooth operation of the service

The Whitmore Reans area, where our service is located, boasts easy access to public transport and local amenities, including shops, parks, and cultural attractions. As a valued member of our Bank Staff, you will also enjoy the benefits of flexible working arrangements, with opportunities to pick up shifts in various locations across the country.

We offer a competitive salary range of £8.50-£10 per hour, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. In addition, you will receive regular pay, free parking, and access to our employee app, which allows you to manage your shifts and stay informed about service updates.

Creative Support is an inclusive and anti-racist organisation, proud to hold Stonewall's Diversity Champion award and Disability Confident Employer status. We welcome applications from candidates who share our values and are passionate about delivering high-quality support services.

Please note that this post is only open to candidates who are eligible to work in the UK and meet the necessary qualifications and experience requirements.
