Care and Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our close-knit care team at Maplebrook Care Home, providing high-quality specialist care to residents in Wolverhampton.

Job Summary:

  • Promote independence and dignity among residents through personalized care and support.
  • Assist with daily routines, including dressing, staying active, and maintaining overall health and happiness.
  • Foster social interactions among residents and staff, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable living spaces, responding quickly to emergencies or call bells.
  • Support residents who need extra help with eating and drinking, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.

About You:

  • Qualifications: SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 6 months of experience as a Care Assistant or transferable skills are ideal.
  • Passion: A genuine interest in caring for the elderly and commitment to delivering excellent service.
  • Values: Integrity, respect, and teamwork are essential qualities for this role.
