We are Active Care Group, a leading provider of complex care in the UK. Our Care in the Home division supports clients with spinal cord injury, neurological, and acquired brain injury to live independently in their own homes.

We're looking for a Home Care Support Worker to join our team.

What You'll Be Doing:

You will provide personal care and support to our clients in their homes, including assistance with daily living tasks such as washing, dressing, and toileting.

  • Moving and handling clients safely
  • Assisting with domestic tasks and social activities

Our clients have complex care needs, and you will work closely with our clinical and business leadership teams to ensure they receive the best possible care.

When You'll Be Working:

You will work on assignments that are typically 2 weeks long, with regular consistent work and rolling rotas.

To be successful in this role, you must commit to working regularly each month to ensure continuity of care for our clients.

What We're Looking For:

You will need to have a kind and caring nature, flexibility, reliability, good communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.

In addition, you will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £8,054 per year (£805 per week / £115 per day) on a zero hour contract.

You will also have the opportunity to earn accrued holiday pay, participate in a Nest Personal Pension account, and benefit from our Active Awards programme.
