At Thomson Environmental Consultants, we are seeking an experienced Director of Habitats Development to lead our Habitats department. As Associate Director, you will be accountable for the direction, delivery, and financial success of this pivotal role.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in a relevant sector, client relationship management, business development, and a strong understanding of wildlife legislation and HSQE requirements. You will provide strategic leadership to guide the team to deliver high-quality services to our clients and achieve exciting plans for growth.

We offer a competitive salary range of £60,000-£80,000 per annum, plus benefits including 25 days annual leave, healthcare cash plan, enhanced stakeholder pension scheme, life insurance, discounted gym membership, paid professional memberships, clothing allowance, outstanding performance rewards, long service awards, free parking, and regular local and company social events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
  • Provide expert technical advice on habitat creation, translocation & management, and protected species mitigation & enhancements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to win future work and build the Thomson reputation
