Habitat Banks Creation Specialist

At Environment Bank, we are trailblazing a new path to restore and protect biodiversity by revolutionising the interaction between commercial and natural worlds. Our team is expanding rapidly with multiple Habitat Banks already opened across England, and many more in the pipeline. To support our growth, we are seeking highly skilled Land Managers to join us based throughout England.

As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for the effective creation and ongoing management of Habitat Banks. Your primary focus will be on prioritising the development of these unique ecosystems based on demand from Local Authorities and other stakeholders. You will also work closely with internal teams to assess site suitability, conduct thorough due diligence, and deliver capital works. Additionally, you will liaise with landowners and local authorities to ensure the long-term success of our projects.

We are looking for individuals with a strong background in rural land management, preferably with experience in creating and managing environmental habitats. A working knowledge of Farm Business Tenancies and relevant environmental matters related to rural land management would be advantageous. Project management experience in the environmental sector is also desirable. If you possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for environmental conservation, this could be the ideal role for you. We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
