About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated nurse to join our Cardiology Research team at the Bristol Heart Institute. As a Cardiology Research Nurse, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of clinical trials and research studies within our department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit and screen patients for clinical trials and research studies
  • Conduct clinical assessments and collect data as required
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and databases
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of research studies
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of research governance and good clinical practice guidelines
Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a broad knowledge and experience of clinical practice within an acute hospital environment
  • Interest in clinical research and a willingness to develop skills and knowledge in this area
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively
  • Good understanding of medical terminology and research principles
