Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cardiology Research Nurse to join our team at the Bristol Heart Institute. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for managing and assisting with clinical trials, ensuring patient safety and data accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Approach patients to participate in studies and manage their involvement in research trials
  • Conduct practical assessments, including questionnaires, vital signs, and sample collection
  • Complete administrative duties associated with research studies, including data entry and results analysis
  • Collaborate with senior research nurses and research sister to deliver research studies
  • Work flexibly to meet the needs of various studies, including occasional evenings and weekends
Requirements
  • Experience in cardiovascular disease and/or acute care settings
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure patient safety and data accuracy
  • Ability to work within research governance and good clinical practice guidelines
