About the Role

Compass is seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Practitioner to join our team in Derbyshire. As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing mental health support to children and young people in educational settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based interventions for mild to moderate mental health and emotional wellbeing issues
  • Support designated senior mental health leads in each setting
  • Provide timely advice to school and college staff and parents as required
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a core MHP qualification relevant to mental health, alongside postgraduate experience working with children and young people and an understanding of the principles and practice of CBT and clinical supervision.

You will be knowledgeable and experienced in working with CYP with mental health needs; completing mental health assessments, providing practice supervision and support as well as providing specialist care directly to children and young people and families.
