Hertfordshire County Council Maintenance Specialist

Hertfordshire County Council is a leading local authority in the UK, renowned for its innovative and efficient approach to governance. As a Caretaker with our esteemed organisation, you will be part of a dynamic team that thrives on flexibility and responds promptly to change.
Your role will involve undertaking a diverse range of projects that promote Hertfordshire as a premier destination for businesses and residents alike. You will work closely with various teams across the county to ensure the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities, including traveller sites.
We require an individual with a strong understanding of the building industry, possessing skills and experience in plumbing, decorating, and general maintenance. A full driving licence and business-insured vehicle are essential for this position.
In addition to your standard working hours, you will be part of our on-call rota, receiving additional payment for any occasions when you are called out. Please note that this role is subject to an enhanced DBS check, which is a mandatory requirement for safeguarding purposes.
