About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Global Business Development Professional to join our Data Intelligence division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through lead conversion and selling Veson Data Intelligence solutions to the maritime sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase the client base and revenue growth.
- Sell Veson Data Intelligence products and services to current and new clients, providing custom solutions to meet their needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective marketing campaigns and drive sales growth.
- Frequent travel (less than 25% annually) to industry events and face-to-face prospect meetings.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Tenacious and resourceful in reaching decision-makers within the company.
- Business-level fluency in written and verbal Portuguese and English language skills.
- Previous experience in developing new business, preferably in data sales.
- Confident in cold calling companies from generated leads.
- Drive and motivation, energy, and activity.
- Experience in sales with a track record of winning new business.
- Ability to think strategically and build a plan to drive sales further.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail under tight deadlines.
- Ability to present to both small and large audiences.
- Understanding of the maritime sector is preferred but not essential.
