Job Description:

We are seeking a General Ledger Assistant to join our finance team at Office Angels in Burton On Trent. As a General Ledger Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring the smooth operation of our client's finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining accurate general ledger accounts, including processing financial transactions and reconciliations
  • Preparing and submitting monthly financial reports to the finance manager
  • Dealing with accounts-related queries and requests from clients and stakeholders
  • Implementing and maintaining internal controls and processes within the finance department

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a finance team, preferably with a focus on general ledger accounting
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • AAT level 3 qualification or equivalent experience
