About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Accounts Assistant to join our client's team in Burton-Upon-Trent. As an experienced finance professional, you will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger, assisting with credit control, and performing various administrative tasks.

The successful candidate will have strong Excel skills, excellent analytical abilities, and a proven track record of working in a busy finance environment. This role offers a competitive salary of £28,000 - £33,000 per annum, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage overseas supplier accounts and perform related tasks
  • Support credit control functions, including cash receipting and reconciliation
  • Raise and process self-billing invoices
  • Undertake other administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a finance-related role
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to learn new systems
