About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to take on this key leadership position. As the Director of IPC Strategy, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective infection prevention and control plans across the trust. You will work closely with the Deputy Director of Infection Prevention and other senior leaders to ensure that our services are safe, efficient, and effective.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement evidence-based infection control policies and guidelines
  • Lead the audit and surveillance of Healthcare Associated infections (HCAI's)
  • Set and monitor standards of infection prevention and control
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on new builds, remodels, refurbishments, and redesigns
  • Work with senior leadership teams to develop managers and team leaders, and support the development of the nursing profession
