Housing Support Worker - Merseyside

This exciting opportunity allows you to play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of vulnerable individuals and communities.

About the Position:

We are seeking a skilled Housing Support Worker to join our team in Merseyside. In this role, you will be responsible for providing housing support to low and medium risk offenders who are eligible for a home detention curfew or bail.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To develop and implement comprehensive support plans for service users in partnership with Community Probation Practitioners and court staff.
  • To assist service users in accessing Housing Benefit and managing rental payments.
  • To maintain precise records and reports on property visits and maintenance.
  • To foster strong relationships with service users, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • A valid full clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work flexibly and travel extensively for business purposes.
  • Familiarity with basic ICT skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
