We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Business Partner to join our award-winning People team at Burges Salmon. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the learning and development strategy to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development curriculum that meets the needs of our business.
  • Lead the design and delivery of high-quality training programs, including inductions, Associate and Senior Associate development centers, and legal training updates.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify learning requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
  • Manage the annual firm-wide legal update program and ensure effective implementation and evaluation.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and best practices in learning and development, sharing insights with the team to inform our strategy.
What We're Looking For
  • A successful learning and development track record, preferably in a law firm or professional services firm.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to drive action and deliver high-quality outputs.
  • A deep understanding of the value of using data to inform decisions and demonstrate return on investment.
