HR Business Partner Job Description

At TH Recruitment, we're seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team. As an HR Business Partner, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our people strategies, driving transformation, and supporting our business objectives.

You'll work closely with Plant Managers and Senior Managers to ensure that our teams are supported and the business runs smoothly. Your expertise in organisational effectiveness, talent management, succession planning, and employee engagement will be invaluable in this role.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and implementing HR strategies that align with business goals.
  2. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior managers, offering expertise in organisational effectiveness, talent management, succession planning, and employee engagement.
  3. Supporting employee relations, providing guidance and acting as an escalation point for complex cases.
  4. Ensuring consistent application of policies and processes across the organisation, while minimising risks.
  5. Analysing HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  6. Partnering with the People Development Business Partner to design and implement learning and development programs.
  7. Leading HR projects and initiatives that align with the overall business objectives.
  8. Working with the HR team to design talent and retention strategies, ensuring the organisation attracts and develops top talent.
  9. Mentoring and managing a team, fostering a culture of high performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven HR Business Partner experience in a fast-paced, multi-site manufacturing environment.
  • Strong relationship management at a managerial and stakeholder level.
  • Expertise in employee relations, including complex case management.
  • Experience in leading HR projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to align HR strategies to business objectives.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and its practical application in an operational HR role.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting to inform decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • CIPD Level 5 Intermediate Certificate/Diploma in HR Management or equivalent.
  • Calm under pressure, with excellent time management skills.
  • A passion for HR, personal development, and continuous improvement.
  • Flexible, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Additional Information:

Regular travel with overnight stays will be required.
