Warehouse Operative Role

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our team at Get Staffed Online Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient running of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring they are properly labelled and staged for shipment
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
  • Take responsibility for the efficient running of the warehouse for Goods In, Goods Out, Returns, and Stock Control, while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment
  • Support on other tasks as required, including vehicle maintenance, cleaning/servicing equipment, and stock take

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution centre
  • Physical fitness to meet the demands of a warehouse role
  • Ability to communicate confidently and comfortably with customers, with a friendly, proactive, and 'can-do' attitude
  • Willingness to take ownership and work on your own initiative as part of a team
  • Ability to follow instructions and strict processes
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (training provided)
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety guidelines

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary of £22,000 - £24,000 per annum, dependent on experience
