About the Role:

As a Business Development Manager on our Business Insurance team at US012 Marsh & McLennan Agency LLC, you will play a key role in driving business growth and client satisfaction. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering purposeful work and meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients across various industries, providing consultative services to help them achieve their business objectives.
  • Collaborate with our sales team, clients, and insurance carrier underwriters to successfully grow and retain clients.
  • Act as a client consultant, providing recommendations and advisory services to help clients navigate complex business insurance needs.
  • Manage pre-renewals, renewals, and ongoing service needs for clients, ensuring excellent client service and retention.
  • Conduct in-person, Zoom, and phone meetings with clients and carriers, maintaining accurate client information using our CRM system.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in the commercial insurance industry, with brokerage experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of working with clients in various industries and communicating effectively with individuals at all levels of an organization.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize deliverables and projects with competing deadlines.
