Support Assistant for Young Girl with Autism

We are seeking a highly patient and caring individual to act as a Personal Assistant for a young girl with Autism.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to help the individual grow independence and explore different activities that she might enjoy.

The role will involve taking her out for social and leisure activities, assisting her to dress herself, and prompting her to use the bathroom.

The ideal candidate will be patient, reliable, and trustworthy, with previous experience of working with children.

The rate of pay for this position is £11.68 per hour, and the annual holiday entitlement will be equivalent to the work done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.

Mandatory training may be required for certain aspects of the role, and the successful candidate will be required to undergo a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check.

We are looking for someone who is able to work to their own initiative and is prepared to access training as needed.
