Care and Support Specialist for Young Individuals

We are looking for a highly skilled Care and Support Specialist for Young Individuals to join our team at Marshfields, an Ofsted registered Residential Children's Home in West Lynn. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide short breaks for children with disabilities, autism, and/or complex health needs aged 5 to 17 years.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality care and support to children with complex needs.
- Mentor and guide colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to achieve the best results for our service users.
- Participate in out-of-hours on-call rota and sleep in as required.
- Diploma in Social Work, CQSW, CSS, or appropriate nursing qualifications.
- Significant care experience, including at least one year post-qualification and specific experience of direct work with disabled children.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Children Act 1989 and other relevant legislation pertaining to disabled children.
- Knowledge of child protection procedures, including Working Together.
- Knowledge and understanding of government policy in relation to residential childcare and services for disabled children.
£40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
