About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our client's residential home, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the promotion of the highest standard of care and safeguarding the development of all individuals.

As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for deputising for the Deputy Manager in their absence, leading the staff team, and supporting the development of the team.

You will work closely with the senior and group managers to ensure compliance with the CQC framework and any audit processes. This will involve ensuring that all care is delivered in line with individual care plans and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities
  • Support the promotion of the highest standard of care and safeguarding the development of all individuals
  • Deputise for the Deputy Manager in their absence
  • Lead the staff team and support their development
  • Work with the senior and group managers to ensure compliance with the CQC framework and any audit processes
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure that all care is delivered in line with individual care plans
Requirements
  • Experience of working within care services
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent in a health-related topic
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Willingness to expand on knowledge and undertake training
  • A passion for supporting young adults and encouraging independence
  • Good communication skills and basic computer skills
  • Excellent commitment and reliability
