About the Role

We are seeking an experienced manager to lead our Patient Services Team, responsible for delivering high-quality eye care services to our community. As Patient Services Manager, you will oversee the smooth management of patient journeys, ensuring seamless referrals, appointments, and treatments.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective patient pathways, ensuring efficient clinic management and maximum clinic fill.
  • Support the clinical teams in delivering excellent care, maintaining accurate records, and providing insightful data to inform business decisions.
  • Manage direct reports, including recruitment, personal development, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with the management and senior teams to promote great patient experience and drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in managing teams within the last 12 months.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, with a good understanding of referral management systems and patient pathways.
  • Management qualification (NVQ level 4 in Business Administration) is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to demonstrate critical reasoning skills and decision-making.
