This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, 52 weeks a year, on a rotating shift pattern. In addition to the basic salary, there are opportunities for overtime work.

We are seeking an experienced facilities professional to join our team at KGS. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a school or education setting and provide an effective and responsive service, ensuring the cleanliness, appearance, and security of the school site are maintained to the highest standard.

The core responsibilities of the role include:

  1. Maintaining the day-to-day upkeep of the school buildings, grounds, and equipment.
  2. Collaborating with external contractors for both emergency and routine matters.
  3. Coordinating school and external events.
  4. Conducting risk assessments and maintaining inspection records of all caretaking tasks.

In terms of benefits, this role offers 25 days' holiday (rising to 27 days after 5 years' service) and free school lunches during term time.
