Job Title: Financial Services Tutor

We are seeking a skilled Training and Development Coach to join our Work-Based Learning team. This role involves delivering high-quality training and development support to apprentices across various professional qualifications.

Your primary focus will be supporting apprentices in achieving their qualifications by delivering engaging and interactive sessions and monitoring their progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver high-quality training aligned to apprenticeship standards, focusing on Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours (KSBs).
  2. Use a variety of methods, such as remote masterclasses and tailored 1:1 sessions, to support apprentices' learning.
  3. Ensure functional skills delivery (English and maths) is embedded into the learning journey for applicable learners.

Learner Progress:

  1. Onboard apprentices, ensuring all mandatory paperwork and quality assurance documentation is completed.
  2. Support apprentices in building their portfolio, ensuring all evidence aligns with the required standards.
  3. Carry out regular progress reviews and provide clear action plans to help apprentices achieve their objectives.
  4. Liaise with the Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) to ensure the quality of teaching and compliance with standards.
  5. Contribute to team meetings and training sessions to drive continuous improvement in the apprenticeship portfolio.
  6. Ensure all safeguarding, Prevent, and organisational policies are followed and promoted.
  7. Support the Work-Based Learning Manager with data and insights as needed.

Requirements:

  1. GCSEs at grade A -C (new grades 4-9) in English and maths (or equivalent).
  2. Functional Skills delivery experience (English and maths up to Level 2).
  3. Knowledge of apprenticeship standards and regulatory frameworks.
  4. Background in Financial Services or similar sectors, qualification such as CeMAP/DipFa.

Estimated Salary: £32,000 per annum.
