- Support students in developing positive behaviour and social skills both inside and outside the classroom.
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to create personalized support plans for students.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.
- Act as a positive role model for students, promoting teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship.
- A minimum of a Level 2 qualification in a sports-related discipline (e.g., sports coaching, physical education).
- Experience working with children or young people in a coaching, mentoring, or educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
- An understanding of safeguarding principles and a commitment to promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to the needs of secondary school students and the school environment.
- Flexibility to work school hours and occasional evenings to support Parent's Evenings.
- A competitive salary of £22,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
