Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled R&D Director to lead our Flavour Solutions team in EMEA. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for driving innovation and growth in our QSR and Food Service business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to drive innovation and growth in our QSR and Food Service business.
  • Lead a high-performing R&D team to deliver new product development projects that meet customer needs and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective working relationships.
  • Represent McCormick at customer engagements and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement systems and programs to drive organizational effectiveness and manage proprietary information.
  • Accountable for stakeholder management across the business to support the prioritization and achievement of business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of product development experience in the food industry.
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience, including managing technical professionals.
  • Solid understanding of the food industry and competitive dynamics of food product categories.
  • Proven experience in customer relationship management in a leadership role.
  • Operational and strategic experience gained in a multi-cultural, multi-site, and matrix working environment.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with internal and external functional groups.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global environment.
