We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team at The Recruitment Co. in Manchester.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our busy Procurement Department, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate service desk activities, including booking travel, ordering stationery and catering supplies, and general purchasing of goods and services.
  • Maintain strong communication with internal and external customers, gathering pricing and quotations, and preparing options for goods and services.
  • Raise purchase orders in a timely manner and liaise with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Deal with service desk requests from internal customers, keeping them fully updated with the status and progress of their orders, and resolve issues and queries.
  • Process invoices in a timely and accurate manner and deal with any related queries.
  • Perform general administrative tasks, including database administration and familiarization with in-house purchasing systems.
Requirements:
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to work unsupervised or as part of a wider team.
  • Attention to detail and basic problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Educated to GSCE level, including Maths and English.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

This is a temporary role, initially for 3 months, with the possibility of becoming long-term. The hourly rate is £12.55. The Recruitment Co. is an equal opportunities employer.
