Job Description

This role involves the timely processing and payment of supplier invoices, ensuring that all payments are made within due dates and for the correct amounts.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with purchase ledger systems and be proficient in 3-way matching (purchase order – receipt – invoice). They should also possess strong communication skills to manage relationships with suppliers and colleagues.

We are seeking an experienced Account Payable Assistant who can work effectively under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and be able to maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities:

  • To process and pay supplier invoices in a timely manner.
  • To reconcile supplier statements and resolve any queries or discrepancies.
  • To maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supplier information and payment history.
  • To communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Salary: £28-30k per annum.
